Freaky Friday

Now...when I say freaky, that is the only word to describe the Applehouse. All is going quite nicely...the weather is perfect for kids to be outside and actually enjoy it which of course means less mess for mommy/Ms. Betty to clean up. At least that is what we think. Then I get a phone call from sweet hubby and he says to me,"I was in a little accident". "Ok" I say "are you ok? and what happenened?" as calmy as I can say it with no way for me to come to his rescue with a house full of kids and a 1995 Ford truck that seats only 3 people and that is a stick shift that I do NOT know how to drive in the driveway!!! Just want you to paint that picture in your minds.


Now... back to Keith's accident. He somehow...don't ask me how, gets the inside of his right arm caught on a door latch as he is walking out a door and the latch punctures his arm to where you can see A. blood and B. the inside of his arm. He rushes to his doctor to thankfully only have to get stitches and is sent home with a band aid on it.


So, he is home and we all see the stitched up injury, sigh with relief and then gross out from the pictures he took on his phone.


Then, I get a phone call from a dear friend who is needing to talk to me about something very important. I am listening intently, only to be interrupted with a very loud call for "EMERGENCY". I hear "EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY"! from upstairs. Of course I am torn between the very important phone call and yet another call for help at which point I can actually come to the rescue. So...I run as fast as I can to walk into a room with a sweet smiling face holding a full poopy diaper in HIS hands! Yes...that was the emergency according to my husband who just came home from his "little accident."


So..there it is... MY FREAKY FRIDAY!
