With a Dog?
I ask this question after seeing the movie Marley and Me. This movie came out just at the right time or should I really say...the "right wrong time" if that can make any sense to anyone, but me.
You see...I am in love with my big brown dog named Tucker. He had no choice but to be in love with me back and now he is breaking my heart. He is reaching that "age"...and he is not well...and I am pretending, hoping, reaching for anything to make him that soft, cuddly, slobbery, take up half the bed, play catch with me forever, even chew up my favorite shoes, and dig up my flower garden for the one-hundreth-millioneth time or scratch up the back door for that matter Tucker again. And him being the loyal, loving friend he is...is trying to do all of that for me and more. That is what makes me love him even more and that is what makes me want to know what makes us fall in love with a dog knowing all of this is a possibility?

I have no idea, but it is indescribable to anyone who doesnt have pets. Our dog is so much a member of our family that when my Mom came to pick him up the night before I had Connor I was sobbing all night. Of course that could have had nothing to do with HORMONES or anything...Ha! Now that we have a few issues with him, we are just so torn because he is our best friend and our first child! I really want to see that movie!
Yeah, I told Jon he wasn't allowed to see that movie because he would be sobbing like a baby. He might have once upon a time cried and the KID'S movie, "Homeward Bound", (but if you tell him I said that I'll deny it!) so there's no way in the world he could handle a real movie.
