Is that TUCKER, my best friend of 12 1/2 years, gave me the "look" that said it all.
The look that said "I know...I will miss you,too!"" But...it will be ok Betty and I will be in a better place." Our last night together was both tear-filled and joyful. He and I both knew this was what would make him live forever in endless trips to the lake, the beach,the park, camping, and playing catch all the day long with all his best pals without fences, dog collars or leashes.
Though I am hurting terribly and feeling as if my heart has been ripped from me, I am also smiling knowing that Tucker, my big brown slobbery gave the best hugs and kisses ever dog is barking up a storm and causing much havoc up in doggy heaven just as he did with us at the Apple House. It will never be the same without him!

Betty I am sosoo sorry! How sad, but you are right that he is barking away! God made us all, animals included, and must have a special place with Him for such great friends. Teresa
Ahhh Betty, I am sending you cyber hugs!!! I am sorry! I believe too that all dogs go to heaven! And I just know Tucker is with my dog Lucy and my other dog BJ, both of whom are most likely sitting in my Granny's lap which was their favorite place to be! Hugs!!!
i miss my big Teddy Bear soooo!!!!! much he was so sweet but i still miss him like he was my dog! i'm sorry Apple Family!

I am so sorry. I have lost an incredible dog as well after 14 years together and it hurts deeply. I pray that the God of all comfort will comfort you and bring you peace right now!

My condolences on your loss. A pet is as much a member of a family as anything, and the loss is great. The hole your beloved dog leaves cannot be filled with any but God's tender comfort, and know that He is providing you comfort each moment the pain washes over you. Also know that Tucker sits beside our Lord each time God reaches His hand down to you and your family - together, they provide that comfort.
Betty, we are so sorry for you and I know how hard it is to lose a pet who you have many memories and good times with. As I told you when my dog of 14 years passed it was so hard for me. We were definitely best buddies. I hope that in time your pain will go away and you can rejoice in the fact that he isnt hurting anymore. Love ya!

I am behind, again! I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved pet. It is so hard, and does really and truly break our hearts when we have been with them for so many years. It will get easier as time goes by and he will forever be with you in your heart.
